OMS!! I was almost on my way out the door for my chi kung exercises in the sunshine, and was pulled back to check into the forum.....and THIS!!! Martha, you've uplifted me!!! FEELINGS.... and reminded me of the hummingbird that stopped by as I was watering my herbs a while ago.

A song comes on the radio that takes me back to another time softly in the background, it corresponds to the other sounds playing in the soundtrack of now, creating a most marvelous composition of sight sound and emotion
The cat sleeps nearby having found a most excellent spot on the bed curled up in the comforter, her bliss and ease addingto mine
I bury my face in her fur to hear the purr of an entity that knows how to spend a Sunday afternoon, minding her way by enjoying her now, relaxed, comfortable, stable, satisfied right here and now


my grandchildren Timo sleept last night with me
it was so good to have him here... what a special energy

I can help a little. There are youtube videos, so I can send you the links to ones my teacher recommends. If you can find a local teacher, that's probably the best way. The one I practice is called the Eight Pieces of Brocade.

Thank you lovely ones. I am flowing in appreciation, I have written so much more here at home today and come back to the forum to see such lovely response. Ana, The feeling place you describe could be similar to the feeling place I wrote of above. Reading would be no where on that grid at that time, only feeling. That moment of connection.

"Good for you Soup." For my dear Victor with a spring cold.

Then I add
fresh garlic - which I can buy this time of year, and easier to chop.
Oh, my gosh, I also add brown rice later.
So many vegetables with the fresh thyme and rosemary and pepper from the garden.
Bay leaf and fresh mint too. Green onions, a little butter, carrots, celery, fresh fennel, and parsley.
Juice of a lemon. Also rice vinegar splash. White pepper, salt.
I think that's it! Who knows!
Oh, and I cheat with adding packaged organic chicken broth.
I appreciate a good soup.
