I already bought a ton of cleaners in wonderful fragrances and look literally forwards to scrubbing, and I sprayed the whole house with orange and lemon and lavendula... (couldn´t stop myself from shopping)
It stinks as a *** but SO much better then dog-pee!!

It use to bug me that I did everything by myself without anyone taking notice, and helping without being asked.

I realized that if I wanted things done to MY liking, then why am I putting it on them? They don't care if the floor is clean, or they would clean it. I was just making myself feeling frustrated and pitiful.

So now, I ask once, and maybe remind once...but that's it...no nagging...I do it myself, even the garbage. And I know...it feels like if they loved and appreciated me, that THEY WOULD WANT TO HELP TO MAKE ME HAPPY. That doesn't really ring true, again, that is me pitying myself. I accepted I will be doing these things...I do them without thinking, "why me",... instead, ahhh, that feels better, it's done and I didn't have to nag or complain to anyone. IT IS SOOOOO MUCH BETTER THIS WAY. It's my house, I do with it as I want.

I just painted and re-arranged my furniture and chucked out a bunch on ole nick-nacs all by myself, and it looks fresh, clean and AWESOME.

Sure, they will dirty it over and over......but that is kids, family, and embrace it. I have older and younger kids here every single day. I do it all...but I do lay down some basic rules of intent of "messes prevention", but keep them basic and incumbering.

I stand on the point that I say "this is my home and I rule in it, and if you want to be here, you follow my rules." No democracy at all!
But it´s ok. If *I* am in alignment with that, and my rules are ITV with ME- this is enough in this case... it´s not my job to make them happy. It´s my job to set my rules and allow others to obey to them.

That´s being a leader... and on their behaviour (including the behaviour of the dogs!) I see if I´m in alignment with what I wish- or not! In the moment I am - and we all work TOGETHER without any arguing, and it just feels GREAT. They laugh and tease- and are proud about what they do for the whole!

-Exctly as I want my family to feel, when I´m with them- in MY house.
