    This is just a quick comment on the first hot-seater. He said he likes to listen to music in the mornings and just surrender to it, which caused Abraham to talk about the subtle difference between "surrendering" and "griding." (New word? It was presented as though it might be.) The emphasis was that "the power of the Vortex, in your absence of resistance, will take you in."

    Surrendering is "letting go of everything.
    Meditation is the ultimate surrendering because in quieting the mind the Vortex will take you."


    "Griding" is "not letting go of everything. It's deliberate focus on something general.
    It's a deliberate application of thought that is the perfect thought for allowing what's in the Vortex to flow in."
