    bookmarking a thread you love?

    Hi.
Could anyone tell me is there a way to bookmark a thread or save it to your own page?

You bookmark a thread the same way you bookmark any other internet page - using the Bookmarks or Favorites tool of your browser. Every page (even every post) of every thread has its own address (as you'll see at the top of your browser in the address line).

Works just like any other page you find on the Web.

Just copy the link, the address, and add the link to your profile page. For example, the address of this post is

    http://www.abeforum.com/showthread.p...-love&p=557020

If you post in the thread you are interested in, even just a "" the forum automatically subscribes you to that thread. On the tool bar near the top of any page you will see a 'quick links' button. Click on 'quick links' and a menu falls down. Click on 'subscribed threads' & you will see all the threads you have posted in. You can unsubscribe as well to keep only the ones you are really interested in.

I do the subscribe thing that Barry mentioned, but you don't need to post in the thread. At the top there is Thread Tools - and you can find the Subscribe / Unsubscribe option there.

Coming in late on this, but you can control your default to subscribe or not at the link below:

    Default Thread Subscription Mode:
    http://www.abeforum.com/profile.php?do=editoptions

Go to the drop down menu there for it, select your desire, to subribe or not, then save the changes.
