This stuff really works...

Last week I found out I could be getting laid off from my cushy, close to home, great benefits, good income, union job in 3 months. At first I was a little unhappy about this and got some great suggestions from Abe friends on this forum.

Immediately I did some wanted end of the stick rampages, some gridwork, spent a good 2 hours working with 'the Ray of Light' on setting my vibrational tone around work, and I've done some segment intending on what I want to do. And other typical Abe teaching stuff, like reaching for better thoughts, and just chilling, having fun at any opportunity, and doing some vibrational work on WORK being PLAY.

I'm soooo excited today because just this morning I found out I get a pretty awesome severance package of at least 3 months pay plus I have a full months holidays saved up so I will get at least 4 months full pay AFTER getting laid off! AND I get my pension that the company has been paying into for me which is around $7000-8000. Woohoo!!!!!

Plus I get unemployment which is enough to cover my mortgage and then some. And my last car payment is this month so that's all paid off too!

I'm so excited about this as an option and knowing that I don't even have to start LOOKING for work for at least 7-8 months and I'll still be getting the same income! Love it!

THERE'S MORE!!!!

My husband was chatting with a work contact, who's wife's company is also union, way more secure and stable (no layoffs!), pays MORE than what I'm making now which is really rare in this city in my line of work, AND offers a great benefits package, pension and so on. She gave me the name of the human resource contact person.

Not even really looking right now for another job, don't need to, and I'm getting awesome leads!!!

Thanks, Richy! I'm feeling pretty darn good about it myself and excited for what's next! Maybe I'll stay home for a few months and work on my writing....Maybe I'll be so interested in a new job that I'll take that....

I LOVE having options and I love knowing that everything will fall into place with PERFECT timing. I trust in that. It's just a question of gently redirecting thoughts and reaching for better feelings and deciding what you want and allowing it.

Just yesterday afternoon I was SOOOOO FRUSTRATED with my job but I knew I didn't want to stay in that state of mind. Several times I stopped myself from telling that story. And distracted. For dinner I had beer and a whole bunch of mini reeses peanut butter cups because it was EXACTLY what I wanted (oh and a taco but that was later). I let myself have that because it felt good. I watched a show. I DID NOT tell the story to my husband. I just wanted to feel good.

I enjoyed my night, made the BEST out of it...

It's really very easy. It takes just a teensy tiny bit of downstream thinking and redirecting to get some really powerful momentum going. It doesn't take much. No matter how bad you feel, no matter how ingrained the story. Just a concsious effort to release and redirect is all it takes.

This is gonna be FUN!!!

I'm so glad this will inspire you, EBennett! It really does work. I'm making a conscious effort to focus on what I want. I could complain, I could be upset, I could be worried, and it would be understandable but I'm not. This is an awesome opportunity and I'm just super excited about it. I was actually feeling kinda stuck and bored in my job and so something new will be really fun and interesting.

I love how this works.

I've been remembering all the wonderful things about a new job....new people to get to know, new tasks to learn, something interesting, a new location, more opportunities, fun benefits. I love talking to new people and coming up with clever answers to interview questions off the cuff. What a great chance to put some of my Toastmaster skills into play. Since there's no pressure, I've got time, I can interview comfortably with ease.

I've got that woman's contact info and she is expecting me to call her later so I'm gonna do a rampage before I talk to her and do some segment intending and get all prepared vibrationally for a wonderful interaction. I've had a few unwanted thoughts pop up...which I won't even list here...but I keep redirecting them with: it will all happen with perfect timing, this or something better, I want a smooth easy transition, I love easy going supportive bosses and I always work with great bosses, I get along with people well, I love meeting new people, I always have great relationships with my coworkers and so on....

Prepaving and segment intending. Woohoo!
