    Changing old patterns of thought

    Hello Abe fans! I am facing difficulties in thinking good-feeling thoughts- whenever I try to appreciate I end up thinking about something that I don't like! I don't feel good no matter how much I try. I guess it's because of LOA that continues to dish out thoughts that I have been practising. Could you please offer some advice on how to break this habit? TIA

    That happens maybe because you try to jump too far from your current feeling state. Try to quiet your mind first (observe your breathing is a good way), then do some easy Gridwork. Hope that helps

    never stop practicing...it is the only way to get good at anything...don't let your mind dwell when you realize you are focusing on the bad thoughts, switch it up as sooon as you can...you will get better at it

    learn to appreciate everything you set eyes on....good practice to get into the habit of....it does wonders

    Do some meditation, then move into a book of positive aspects. When you have finished, in that positive mindset, make a list of things that make you feel good that are easily accessible to you. Put it in your wallet and when you find yourself mired in negativity and unable to find a good thought pull out your list and read it, find something on there to focus upon. This breaks the habit. Not the first time, but doing it over and over again disrupts the neural pathways that you've built.

    When you go to sleep at night, bask before sleep -- love your pillow (or any other easy to love thought).

    you choose your thoughts. LOA is convenient to blame but its nothing outside of you - LOA is YOU running the show. When you encounter a thought you dont like - you are not obligated to follow that thought. And you are not obligated to make anything of that thought.

    You decide how much importance to apply to the thoughts you think. If you think a thought that feels bad you can simply declare "I dont have to think about it right now" and just kiss it off into the ether. Just keep kissing it off into the ether. One day the thought will either be gone or you will have a good laugh about it.

    Deliberate creation is about being DELIBERATE in what you choose to think!
