    Favorite quick pick-me-up process?

I need a quick pick-me-up, the Abraham equivalent of one of those tiny energy drinks that packs a big punch. What's your favorite Abe way of getting that? Gridwork? A rampage? Focus wheel?

Right now I'm feeling tired, and I'd like to be feeling ease, joy, contentment, optimism...

When I feel tired, I do something physical to pump my endorphins. I realize that isn't much of an Abe answer, but for me that helps get me over the hump. Once the endorphins are released into my brain, everything seems to improve. Endorphins are natural mood enhancers.

Ah. Something clicked when you said that. Can you say a little more about what you do? Definitely feeling a gap, and I even know what it is.

lt's different for different things.....like today l woke up and in my morning meditation and prayers l realized my "dred" of work was a gap l had between what l've always wanted and what l want now.

l pay attention to what l'm feeling and what l'm wanting, then make a grid of what l want, also ask up to take care of the how of closing the gap.

This often works for me. lt's sometimes difficult for me to translate what goes on in my particular processess, cos l hear things from the past or present whispering to me in odd ways that lead to a particular idea that goes "aha".

l am going to add...sometimes it's not a whisper, it's sometimes a thot, song or idea that is getting louder and more frequent......and it's not a negative feeling.....it's visual and auditory.....little pictures in my mind with sound that say "hello, nice to see you".....l love it , it works for me-l was born into a very psychic family who spoke to the other side all the time........so maybe l have early training, yet l believe it's available to all

also ask up to take care of the how of closing the gap.
    starrykitten,
on this l meant ask UM to take care of the how , didn't have time earlier to correct.

also, it's the IB and my/our inner guidance that gives each of us a tailor made picture or idea that helps us move to a new level, or point of attraction.......it's not a mysterious "psychic" thing......just that is just a feeling l was having at the time l posted.

we are naturally supernatural and can tap into that

    Hi Starrykitten,

This is a good question that can lead to more clarity.

For me there are some profound Abe inspired things that have helped me when I need a boost:

-Abe has said this - taking naps and increasing water intake. Personally I usually drink my water between meals and just the simple addition of more water to my day actually seems to bring me close to my vortex...it's interesting, but it works for me.

-listening to Abe videos during a work break sometimes brings me a little ease. Sometimes even the "getting into the vortex" meditation guide. I think at the heart of this is the act of focusing in a more general way. Even taking a random movement class - dance or fitness - just for the sake of being in a different environment or moving in a different way. Taking a walk or going for run. I wouldn't call these things quick fixes, but they help in shifting my focus and energy closer to the vortex...I find the key is not forcing these actions, but just choosing the one that seems to be the next logical step...sometimes just giving myself permission to be in the OOTV state immediately causes me to feel better and better and better...

-One thing that has served as an amazing quick pick me up process for me is this: I list all the things that I desired that flowed into my life with ease. And just starting to think that way is so amazing. Just recalling those things I've asked for that have already been given with ease is so fun. Then suddenly I remember the certainty I felt when I first discovered the Abe teachings. And it's clear that although right now I am in the asking moment, what I desire is for sure going to be given. Sometimes I phrase my journal entry like this "My life has been satisfying so far for these reasons..."

    Good day, starrykitten

I really like the positive what if. It seems an easy way to open up to new possibilities and turn my frown upside down.

I also like the "fun is" thread in practicing the teachings. Focusing on fun stuff helps get the energy moving.
