Can you please elaborate this a little further.

For example lets say I have a severe back ache. So the back ache is the pain. In this case how do I relax into the resistance?

May I start with adding, that I had a long pain-history, and this technic helped me ALWAYS, even in the most "impossible situations".
The origin of the word anxiety is latin, what means distress or un-easiness, "Dis-ease". You could directly translate it with tension.

All our dis-ease, or uneasiness at first gets INDICATED by negative emotion, and when you donīt do anything about that, it becomes bigger and becomes a physical INDICATOR as pain.

We always have a "good reason" for our resistance. We trained ourselves into beliefs (thoughts, that we kept thinking) that contradict our desires.
And society helped us to resist our natural desires also- because they are in many cases contrary to what we BELIEVE would be helpful or even possible.
But the emotional (and also physically feelable) inner guidance tells you otherwise: What feels bad, is NOT helpful to you. Itīs not what source knows to be true.

But in the moment you relax-physically, or focus-wise, you feel relief.
All advice that you read from me or per example the mods on this Forum are always about SOOTHING yourself.

You could meditate, or even take a nap. You could loosen your muscles, in maybe taking a walk or a hot bath, or with a hot warming bottle.
But the physical action is just a band-aid. SOOTHE your vibrational discord, go general, find new focus in topics that bother you, that FEELS better.
Look at the wanted, instead at "problems".

I think, itīs all very good described in the quotes! Apply them.
Find a way to "surrender", UNCONDITIONALLY, without needing conditions to change, before you are willing to relax!

Pain teaches us "finally", that we canīt solve our problems in pushing against them.
We must let them go, and find something to enjoy, INSTEAD.
We must stop fighting against them, but instead guide our focus to the wanted (or at least to "no thought").

Illness or pain is just an extension of negative emotion.
When you are no longer feeling any resistance to it,
    it's a non-issue.

Try to hold in your thought:
Pain is a vibrational indicator of contradicted thought.
Which means: There is something, that is very important to you,
that you think often in opposition to!

Itīs a CHRONIC thought, that you think,
that your IB does not agree with,

    that is causing this tension.
And further, itīs something that comes up frequently enough,
that you keep asking for something more,
but you keep not going there.

"How can I do what you say when I hurt so bad?”
-And we said, you are where you are,
and what’s going on is what’s going on,
but while your body is racked with pain—
you can feel fearful or hopeful.

    Guest:
How can I relieve the physical discomfort I feel,
    just between my shoulder blades?

    Abraham:
Something you might do that is a very delicious thing to do
is put yourself in your bed and summon the energy.

Whether you're summoning it to your face or to your toe,
pick a spot on your body and say,

"Work on this for me, will you?

Psychic cellular surgeons, come forth and work on me.
Plump up this cell to its most extraordinary state of well-being.
And I will lie here in the most relaxed state of being that I can find
    with an expectation of that."

And what you will feel is literally a sensation within your body.
    You will literally feel...
Pick a spot and feel it. Choose a spot on the back of your neck,
or in the pit of your knee, or across the small of your back.
Pick any spot, and as you lie there in that feeling...

If we could keep you here for as few as 15 minutes
you would begin to actually feel physical movement.

Watch Esther's face for a minute, you're close enough to see...
is there any question about the energy moving there?
    (No, it's very obvious.)

If it were a dark room she would be glowing.
She's glowing anyway, anybody seeing it?
    (murmurs of affirmation)

In other words, as the energy moves through,
in this non-resisted way, anything that you set your attention to...

Many of you have come to just accept the way things are,
because you're afraid of being disappointed.

When, you don't have to (just) accept anything,
    you get to choose everything!
There is nothing that would be denied you in your place of pure wanting.

"...It wasn't thinking about sickness that made you sick.
It was being mad at your daughter, it was being mad at your mother, it was being mad at your husband,
it was being mad at your wife, it was about being unhappy at work,
it was about complaining about this,
it was about complaining about the government,
it was complaining about things where you can't do anything about it. ..." Abe
