Abe on Writing

(Answer to a man with writers block)

“At first when you were feeling it, it was just you and your story and your story wrote itself through you. IOW, you had this vibrational relationship with this idea and for some time before you began to actually pen it, you had launched your rockets of desire. So it was bubbling over here in your vibrational escrow. And do you know that all kinds of amazing writers join you in your vibrational escrow? That’s what inspiration is. When you begin putting ideas there through life experience, it begins to percolate and call you forward.

So you had this relationship between you and your story that was life-giving. Remember how fun it was? You would wake up – you couldn’t sleep – it’s all you wanted to do. You wanted to talk about it with everyone. Everything in the world seemed to relate to it in some way. LOA was just giving you so much evidence. People would actually perform parts of your screenplay right out on the street in front of you. IOW, you were such a vibrational match to it.

And THEN… you did what almost everybody does – you put it before someone else, where something very strong happened. You lost your relationship between you and you - the physical you and your expanded screenwriter/genius you. And you established a relationship between you and the critic, you and the one who would receive it, you see.

You let yourself turn your attention away from this that was calling you. What we would encourage you to do – you just have to reach the place where you don’t give a rip what they think, what anybody thinks.

Rejections? Do you know what all those rejections are doing for you? We wish for you hundreds of more rejections, because when you know what you don’t want, you know more clearly what you do want. And it puts more power over here. It makes the energy swirl more, so when it pops, it pops in a bigger way.

The key, and the best thing we know is to write more. The fastest way to get what you’ve already written published is to write more, write more, write more… because when you write you hold yourself in vibrational alignment.

We talked to a musician not long ago, and he was, is, good at his craft. But when he took it to others, his vibration got all scrambled because now he’s caring about what they think and he’s lost his connection with his muse.

Two things: DON”T GIVE A RIP WHAT THEY THINK and KEEP WRITING!

And don’t keep fixing that one! Write another one, and then another one and then another…IOW, don’t write it and then tweak it and guard it and fix it. Write, write, write, write…

Let it flow through you because when you have your success, you will be under great demand and you’ve got to keep writing and writing and writing. IOW, keep the pump flowing; keep the words flowing. There are endless stories in you, and endless words and endless opportunities.

Esther had the good fortune some years ago – it was the first day that she had her laptop computer with her in a hotel room – to hear an author being interviewed who was explaining that he doesn’t write the words for his characters, he just identifies who the characters are and throws them together in a situation and they know what to do and what to say and how to behave. And when Esther thought about that, she began dabbling with it, and it was unbelievable how many characters are over there in vibration escrow who know what to say. And if you’re listening, you can just write it all down, you see.

You’ve done all the work. You know how to write. You have a good turn of phrase. Your mind works fast. You are very good at translating thought into words and dialogue. You can make it be real. All you gotta do is stop noticing what’s not happening and let it happen. Really.

So here’s a trick. When you go for your interview - before you get there – say things to yourself such as, ‘I suppose that every wonderful screenwriter was at one time standing right where I am – unpublished, knowing he was good, doing good work, but not recognized and not understood. And now look where they are. Everyone had to walk through this place where I am standing to get where I now want to be. Plenty of them have done it. And this is the process I’m savoring right now. I wouldn’t give this part of the process up for anything.’

IOW, get inside that and feel the beginning of what will be known as a genius’s career. Get in there and feel it.

Feel it and when you go for your submission, think to yourself, ‘I will only agree to play with them if they have the ability to really do my work justice.’

IOW, don’t go with the feeling, ‘I hope it’s good enough.’ It’s good enough! Go with the vibration that says, ‘If you want to play with me, you gotta be up to speed with what I’ve got going on here, because this is just the beginning of so much more and I don’t want my first start to be a fizzle. I want it to really go.’

So ‘I’m interviewing you’ is the attitude that you want to have. ‘I’m interviewing you to see if you’re up to speed with the game that I’ve been practicing, that I’m ready to play.’

And when you practice yourself in those places, what you will begin to discover is that the Universe knows, you see. You’ve been putting yourself and your projects over there in vibrational escrow and do you know that LOA and the Sources that BE and the Fairies of the Universe have been accumulating everything necessary to bring this to fruition?

Do you know what the only missing component is? The rest of you! Because you’re out there worrying and fretting and with writers block instead of being who you are.

Quickie this morning, busy day...

They’re so caught up in the complaining part of it.

It’s frustrating for you, because you want to be there for them.

But you can’t be there for them any more than their Inner Being is being there for them!

And we say, if their Inner Being isn’t going to go there with them, why should you?
Then we say, write them in your books! Put their name at the top of the page and say,

“dear Troubled Friend, what is it about you that I am thinking that is making me feel this way?

What are my upstream thoughts about you?” And identify what they are.

And then say, “Do I have any downstream thoughts about you?

Is there anything about you, that when I think it, I come into alignment with my Inner Being?”

Because when you take the time to come into alignment with your Inner Being, you come into alignment with their Inner Being!

And when you and your Inner Being are in alignment with their Inner Being, you are a more powerful force to reckon with.

In other words, you’re all calling this person now.

You’re calling them toward their perfection, toward their love of self, toward their wellbeing!

Now you are tuned into the best part of them, which means Law of Attraction is showing you the best parts of them…
And then they will say things about you like, “I feel good when I am around you.”

Esther would say, “I felt so good just to drive by Jerry’s house!” He was an uplifter.

She could feel the vibration of him. She had no idea what it meant, but it was a compelling feeling.

It felt good when she focused there, you see.

It’s not the easiest thing in the world to see someone different than they are predominantly offering.

But you can do it. That’s what true upliftment is.

Abe: "So, are words necessary to stay in the Vortex?"

Abe: "Focus, focus of what? Focus of feeling, focus of attention. How do you focus without thought? Can you focus feeling without thought? Well, you can think about feeling. What does it feel like, what does love feel like?"
Guest: "What does love feel like, wow. Feels like joy, like appreciation."
Abe: "Feels like fun, happy."
Guest: "Fun, excitement. I'm extremely excited for what's coming."
Abe: "Feels like anticipation."
Guest: "Anticipation."
Abe: "Feels like interest. Use all the words. Use all the words. It's not just words. Use all the juicy in the Vortex words. Being in love is being ALIVE. Being in love is being more than I've ever been before. Being in love is feeling the expansiveness of who I am. And whether you are using the words or not - don't all of those feelings sort of compound where you are, and aren't you, for every moment that you spend saying those words, aren't you practicing a vibration and constructing some thoughtways that are going to lead to more and lead to more and lead to more and lead to more?"
Guest: "Yes."
Abe: "It's vibrational preparation for the goodness that's already in the Vortex. That's really what we're talking about when we say being in the Vortex and milking it. Yes."

The (often forgotten) value of TIME and SPACE.

You are a physically focussed non-physical energy.
You live in a time/space reality because it is fun to perceive relationships. (things as they relate to one another)
It is fun to understand distances.
It is fun to understand space.

In other words, don't you like to be in this room but don't you like knowing that there is outside?
Don't you like being on the ground but don't you like seeing your world from the air?
Don't you like to be on a continent but don't you like knowing that the ocean is out there?
Don't you like depth?
Don't you love the way your eyes can look up close or can look off in the distance.
Don't you love this time and space reality.
Don't you love the rendezvous that time gives.
Don't you love moving through time?
Don't you love your awareness of time?
Don't you understand and don't you adore the benefit of being able to focus?
That's what all of this is.
So, as you embrace "what is", as the advantage of the launch, but you ANTICIPATE the thrill of the launch, that is the best of all the worlds.

"Guest - I really want to resonate with the Source within me, particularly on the subject of money.
I want the one signal.

Abraham - So when you say I want to resonate with Source, what does that mean in practical terms?
How do you know when you are, and how do you know when you're not?

Guest - Well, it feels crap and like lack when I'm not. (Audience laughter)

Abraham - So feeling crap is not resonating with Source (Guest and audience lots of laughter)

Guest - No (laughing)

Abraham - So, so it's a feeling thing. So, you can define it or better still, can you conjure images that cause you to feel it and then interplay with us while you're feeling it. (Guest - Yes)

This is the work.
In other words, find some way to feel it.

Because, it must be annoying to you when we say, "Well, the emotion is the manifestation, so go get that emotion." And you say, "Well, I can no more go get the emotion than I can go get the million dollars right now this red hot minute." And we say, "Well you probably can't go get the million dollars within the next ten minutes, but we know you can get the emotion."

So what is the emotion that you're trying to create here?
What emotion are you wanting to manifest?

Guest - Abundance.

Abraham - But, what does abundance feel like?

Use emotional words that are equivalent to abundance.

So you just want to keep massaging it and playing with it because you can't play with those words and the variety of words that all sort-of speak to it without beginning to evoke the feeling within you.

So, as you identify the emotions that you're wanting to conjure or create, then you can fill it in by saying [for example] I want to feel free...

During segment of refreshment, Esther was lying on the sofa and reaching for a feeling of freedom and of ease, and an image came to her mind that she has not thought about in many, many years of being very young and by herself and taking the blanket out between the lilac bushes which was up against a fence, which was a natural little hut, and spreading the blanket, and just lying there on the blanket in the bushes and just feeling the Well-Being.

And as she remembered that, she remembered how it smelled, she remembered how it felt.

In other words, she was reaching for a feeling and clearly found the feeling which then brought a further manifestation of a MEMORY that matched it. You see what we're getting at?

Now, in some cases we might have said to you, "Can you think of a time that you felt free, or can you think of a time--" But sometimes it's harder to go there because thinking of a time when you felt free is more specific than just finding the emotion.

The emotion really is the first stage of the manifestation. And if you can get there, and you can, just by using productive words...

Am I acting from outside the Vortex or inside the Vortex? Am I going with the flow of the eternal stream? Am I true to the vibrational groundwork that I have laid, as I have lived not only in this life but many lifetimes before? Or am I bucking my own current?

That's really the question. Because so many people work so hard because they are having to buck their own current.

When you are in alignment with who you are, there's no current to buck. Then the road doesn't feel bumpy, it feels smooth.

Do you justify the money that comes or allow it?

And is the justifying that you're doing your form of allowing it?

And can you feel that there is a lot of room to play with?

In other words could you shift your perspective and get into a more allowing place where
you would need less justification?

Do you know people that work really, really, really hard and don't have much money flowing into their experience?

Do you know people that don't seem to work hard at all who have a lot of money flowing through their experience?

Do you understand that they have figured that out?

They have just tweaked themselves vibrationally and that's what makes the difference.
It's not about action. It's about vibrational alignment.

So do you get that that's the real work that you want to do?

It's energy work. It's vibrational work. It's attitudinal work. It's feeling work.
It's thinking thoughts that feel good. It's telling the new story,
becoming the writer of your story the way you want it to be.

Do you think it is wrong for someone to have a lot of money?

If someone has a lot of money do they deprive someone else of money?

Is the pile of money a finite pile that has to be divvied out or is it expanding exponentially based upon your desire?

Do you see that there are a lot of people that have asked and
there is a veritable fortune ready to be received
that is not being allowed by thoughts of worry?

Can you see how thoughts of recession or thoughts of depression are not about any reality?
They're about focus!

Do you know that there are those that thrive in the worst of times?

And that there are those that don't do well in the best of times?

Do you get it that it's about vibration and not about any sort of reality?

Hotseater: I've worked hard my whole life and only gotten a bit of what's in my Vibrational Escrow.

Abe: "That's a story that gets you nowhere." Do you want to know what your path in life is? Your path is getting everything you want, when you want it! Your VE is TRUE, any feeling or appearance of "not enoughness" is NOT TRUE.

You are sitting in the vortex of infinite intelligence, you have access to everything you need and want.

You don't have to "nail it" (be a perfect vibrational match to what you want), just get in the vibrational vicinity of it and LOA can draw you the rest of the way into the vortex.

Get yourself into the proximity of your vortex by telling yourself the story of what's in your VE. MILK IT!!! Use it as your excuse to get in the vibrational vicinity of your vortex and hover there.
